Maersk Oil is seeking a Drilling Superintendent for a key position in the DUC Operations Drilling Group located at our headquarters in Copenhagen. The group, which consists of five rig teams each with a Drilling Superintendent and an Operations Engineer, supports the Danish North Sea drilling activities of Maersk Oil. Maersk Oil is the operator in the DUC partnership with Shell and Chevron.

Australia’s Stuart Petroleum said today it had made oil shows at the Cleansweep-1 exploration well in PEL 100 of the Cooper-Eromanga basin.
The oil shows were observed in the Birkenhead formation over an interval between 2128 and 2133.5 metres, Stuart said.
Current operations are preparing to run a drill stem test over the interval.
Cleansweep-1 is targeting in-risked mean oil in place potential of 4.8 million barrels.
Stuart is paying 100% of the cost of the well to obtain a 50% interest in the permit.
The co-venturers at PEL 100 are Sundance Energy (23.333%), Cooper Energy (19.167%), Eneterprise Energy (5%) and Liberty Petroleum(2.5%).
