West Tulsa flirts with Red Fork

By Upstream staff

Australia’s Red Fork’s first well at its West Tulsa project in Oklahoma has signaled a potential hydrocarbon pay of 30 feet in the primary objective.

If the well tests successfully on production it will represent a significant discovery for Red Fork, opening up six to eight drilling sites and providing a platform to increase the company’s production.

The US-focused oil and gas explorer expects to have initial production results for the well in about 30 days.

Red Fork plans to spud a second well at the 100% owned West Tulsa project within the next seven days.
