Scan set to shoot off Portugal
Norwegian seismic player Scan Geophysical is primed to carryout an 8500
kilometre 2D sweep off Portugal for a consortium comprising Petrobras
International Braspetro, Galp and Partex.
The outfit’s M/V Geo Searcher, currently working in the Mediterranean, is
set to start the shoot by the end of June. The vessel will use a 10,000
metre long MSX solid streamer system and a 4000 cubic inch source array
designed for low frequency output.
