Noble secures more work

New contracts awarded for the Noble Houston Colbert and Noble Bob Douglas

Rig owner Noble has revealed two new contract wins in its latest fleet status report.

The drillship Noble Bob Douglas has secured a contract with an unnamed client in the US Gulf of Mexico from late November until late February at an undisclosed day rate.

The rig is currently carrying out operations for Tullow Oiloff Suriname for an undisclosed day rate and is set to kick off a three-year contract with ExxonMobil off Guyana in the first half of 2018.

Noble has also secured a contract for its jack-up Noble Houston Colbert which is currently warm-stacked but will head out on a one-year contract with Dolphin off Qatar from early February next year.

It also revealed its contract for the jack-up Noble Regina Allen with ExxonMobil for a 22-well plug and abandonment campaign off Canada will kick off slightly earlier than anticipated, with the contract start date brought forward to early December.
