Corrib controversy: Watchdog finds no evidence of alcohol gifts

Ireland’s police watchdog has cleared the force of allegations it received gifts of alcohol from an intermediary firm on behalf of Shell at the height of the Corrib gas protests in the west of the country in the mid-2000s.
