Swissco nets $94.8m charters

Swissco wins: Four vessels chartered

Singapore’s Swissco has announced a number of contract wins which will have the company providing four vessels to be used in Latin America.

The contract is worth about $94.8 million and will last for up to two years.

Four mobile offshore drilling units will be sent off and used by an oil major to support its oil and gas activities in the region.

The charters are conditional on the delivery of the mobile offshore drilling units by one of the company’s subsidiaries, Scot & English Energy.

Once the vessels are deployed, the charters are expected to have a positive impact on the group’s earnings for this financial year.
