EMAS wins Apache UK frame deal

Contract pipeline: Apache awards subsea installation deal

Stavanger-based EMAS AMC has won a competitive tender to land a three-year frame agreement from Apache for subsea installation work in the UK North Sea.

The Norway-based subsea services subsidiary of Singapore’s Ezra Holdings said the frame deal would include pipeline construction, umbilical/cable lay, structure installation and other related offshore construction services.

EMAS AMC regional head for Europe and Africa Svein Haug said that the win would fit well with the company’s ambitions to grow in the complex pipe-lay, umbilical lay and subsea installation segments of the subsea tieback market.

The deal is for three years with a two-year extension option.
