French flair wins at Moho-Bilondo

By Upstream staff

French engineering player Doris has landed two jobs on Total's Moho-Bilondo development, off Congo-Brazzaville, worth a total of $38 million.

Doris will carry out the front-end detailed design job on the Moho-Bilondo floating production unit, a job it said was worth about $5 million.

It has also landed the $33 million turnkey contract for the design, fabrication and installation of the floater's mooring system.

Topsides work will start immediately, with delivery scheduled for the first quarter of next year. Procurement, fabrication and installation of the mooring system should be finished by August 2007.

Moho-Bilondo is due to pump first oil in February 2008.
