Victoria spuds last Mirage well

By Upstream staff

Victoria Petroleum has spudded its Mirage-4 development well in the Cooper basin, South Australia.

The well targets the Murta oil sands at a depth of 1325 metres and is the last of a three well development programme that seeks to boost production in the Mirage oilfield from 400 barrels of oil per day to 1000 bpd.

Participants in PEL 115 are operator Victoria (40%), Impress Ventures (40%) and Roma Petroleum (20%).
