New contracts boost CSL figures

By Upstream staff

Aberdeen-based subsea group CSL saw turnover rise 40% to £17 million ($30.9 million) in the 2005-06 trading year, the company said.

The company said two deal concluded in the last month contributed to the increase. These included a contract to manage a development for Dada Petroleum in the UK North Sea as well as another contract from existing customer Total to provide front-end engineering design (Feed) for subsea facilities on the Nkossa field off the Republic of Congo, in West Africa.

Much of the work for the African contract was expected to be done at the company's Aberdeen facilities.
