Pipeline: Texas Eastern finalises US Northeast gas pipeline plan

Spectra Energy unit Texas Eastern Transmission has finalised the design of its TIME III pipeline expansion project that will connect the US Northeast with new Rocky Mountain natural gas supplies by November 2010.

Texas Eastern's TIME III project will provide 120 million cubic feet per day of additional natural gas transportation capacity from Oakford, Pennsylvania, to Station 195 on the Transco pipeline system in York County, Pennsylvania, said Reuters.

"The TIME III Project is the fourth expansion of our Texas Eastern system to respond to shippers' needs to transport new Rockies supplies to major Northeast markets," said Bill Yardley, group vice president at Spectra Energy Transmission.
