Wyoming: Bill Barrett has flowed gas from its Bullfrog Number 33-10 exploration well
Bullfrog sings for Barrett
Denver-based minnow Bill Barret said its Buffrog Number 33-19 exploration well, in the Wind River Basin of Wyoming, was producing four million cubic feet equivalent of natural gas per day following fracture stimulation.
Bill Barrett said the well initially produced at 5 mmcfe in testing after clean up. The well, drilled to 19.432, was completed in the Lakota formation. The company said log results indicated the bore also had potential in the Muddy and Frontier formations, which are now behind pipe.
The company explores for oil and gas in the US Rocky Mountains.
