GeoResources nudges earnings higher
North Dakota's GeoResources saw second-quarter income of $854,125, or 23 cents per share, compared with $848, 044, or 23 cents per share, as increased production and higher commodity prices buoyed results.
Revenue for the second quarter grew to $2.5 million from $1.9 million in the second half of 2005.
Net income for the first half of 2006 was $1.4 million, or 37 cents per share, up from income of $1.1 million, or 30 cents per share, in the first six months of 2005.
Revenues for the half year rose to $4.7 million in the first half of 2005 from $3.7 million in the first half of 2005.
