ProSep bags Whiting bounty

Carrying home the bounty: ProSep bags $2.1 million gig.

Canadian service outfit ProSep has bagged a $2.1 million contract with Whiting Petroleum to provide an additional membrane unit to increase gas treatment capacity at their Wickett CO2 removal facility in Texas.

Whiting's Wickett facility recovers CO2 from high-CO2 associated gas for re-injection. The membrane unit currently operating at Whiting Petroleum's West Texas treatment facility was provided by ProSep in 2006.

The expansion will boost Whiting’s treatment capacity from 40 million cubic feet per day to 60 Mmcfpd.

Delivery is scheduled for the third quarter this year.
