work
scope
includes
the
subsea
cutting
for
the
jacket
of
the
Iwaki
platform.
The
16,000-tonne
eight-legged
structure
will
be
lifted
by
derrick
lay
barge
Sapura
3000
to
be
from
the
location
to
the
seabed,
creating
an
artificial
reef.
Work
will
begin
in
March
2010.
SapuraAcergy’s
remotely
operated
vehicles
will
transport
the
cutting
equipment
from
Proserv’s
Asia
Pacific
base
to
Iwaki
field.
The
20,735-tonne
platform
is
touted
as

largest
offshore
