Aker Yards: the company now has orders for eight vessels from Nordcapital Holdings

Nordcapital boosts Aker Yards order

Norway's Aker Yards said it had won a Nkr290 million ($45.7 million) contract from Hamburg-based Nordcapital Holding to build another two UT 755 LN Platform Supply Vessels (PSVs).

The company said the vessels would be built at Aker's yard at Aukra, Norway. Nordcapital now has orders for eight vessels from Aker Yards. These are scheduled for delivery between October 2007 and March 2009.

All the ships will feature dynamic positioning capabilities.
