Saudi Aramco clicks with Actenum
By Upstream staff
Vancouver-based specialist software company Actenum said it had won a contract from Saudi Aramco unit Aramco Services Company to supply a customised rig fleet scheduling application.
Actenum said its proprietary optimisation and scheduling software would help Saudi Aramco plan rig fleet assignments and respond effectively to disruptions. It said the application would help optimise the use of new rigs due for delivery as the world's biggest oil producer seeks to boost production, while working to control costs.
Actenum expects to deliver the application early next year.
