Schat-Harding on course with Lyttelton

By Upstream staff

Lifeboat and evacuation systems supplier Schat-Harding has bought the lifeboat servicing business of Singapore-based Lyttelton Marine.

Group after sales and service manager David Bradley said: "Singapore is a key hub for both the shipping and offshore worlds. Schat-Harding has invested in an enhanced centre there."

The move gives Schat-Harding 11 new engineers, as well as new workshops, boosting its capabilities in Asia.

No figures were put on the deal.
