Germany's Siemens is set to take a 49% stake in Danish offshore windfarm installation outfit A2Sea, majority shareholder Dong Energy said today.

Under the deal, Siemens will shell out Dkr860 million ($142.4 million) for new shares in A2Sea. The cash will be paid in two installments, one this year with the second next year.

Closing, which is subject to regulatory approval, is due in the fourth quarter of this year, Dong said.
