ABB lands $215m Algeria job

Swiss engineering giant ABB has won a contract worth more than $215 million from Algeria's state-run producer Sonatrach to supply automation systems and pumping stations.

ABB will supply two new pumping stations and support systems to serve the 665-kilometre NK-1 oil pipeline linking Algerian oilfields at Haoud El Hamra with the Mediterranean port of Skikda, the company said in a statement.
