Gladstone: coalbed methane contest heats up

Australia’s Santos is close to finalising an A$2 billion (US$1.75 billion) deal with Shell for the sale of a 30 to 35% stake in the Gladstone coalbed methane to liquefied natural gas project, the Australian Financial Review reported.
