assess
the
integrity
of
the
well
bore
in
order
to
determine
the
necessary
steps
to
kill
the
leaking
well.
However,
the
supermajor
decided
to
conduct
further
analysis
on
13
July
evening
and
into
14
July
Houston
time
before
moving
on
with
the
well
integrity
test.
The
decision
was
made
following
a
meeting
with
Energy
Secretary
Steven
Chu
and
his
team
as
well
as
the
National
Incident
Commander.
