Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) has handed a seven-year, $800 million engineering and maintenance services contract (EMC) to the Wood Group-CCC joint venture.

Wood Group said the contract, which has an option to extend for a further three years, will include integrated engineering, construction, maintenance and support services for existing PDO facilities in southern Oman's onshore play.

Further details were not immediately available.
