LNG signs pre-FEED deal

Gladstone: The Pre-FEED study is due for completion in June.

Australian company Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) has signed a deal with infrastructure company Jemena to evaluate the potential of expanding the company’s Queensland Gas pipeline to LNG’s project site.

LNG signed a Pre-Front End Engineering Design study agreement with Jemena, to evaluate whether the pipeline could transport gas from the Wallumbilla Gas Hub to the Callide Gas Hub at Gladstone.

Due for completion in June, the study may progress to a full front end engineering and design study in parallel with ongoing discussions with potential gas suppliers, for delivery of gas to either the Wallumbilla or Callide Gas Hubs.
