Security fears continue ADX Tunisia delay

Tunisia: ADX is seeking commitments from local authorities to supervise the transport of the rig to the drilling location.

Security concerns have continued to delay work on the Sidi Dhaher-1 well, located onshore Tunisia, operator ADX Energy has told the Australian Securities Exchange.

Work on the project has been delayed since March, but the company said the holdup had had a minimal cost impact to the Joint Venture.

The company said local authorities had not been able to give it “reliable commitments” to supervise the transport of the rig to the drilling location and prevent trespass to its facilities once operational.
