AGR lands Bass Strait gig

Australian contract: AGR will carry out subsea inspection work in the Bass Strait for an unnamed client

Service outfit AGR Field Operations has been awarded a contract to carry out subsea inspection work of offshore facilities in Australia’s Bass Strait.

AGR said the scope of the work included ROV based general visual inspection and a cathodic protection survey as well as installation work.

It added the facilities to be inspected included two offshore platforms and their associated pipelines.

AGR’s Asia Pacific senior vice president Brett Smith could not say what project the contract covered when contacted Upstream today as the client did not wish to be named.
