Exillon sees 53% pumping boost

Excelling: West Siberia play yields production boost for Exillon Energy

British independent Exillon Energy has announced a 53% rise in its average daily production for the third quarter.

The junior player said its upstream operations in Russia’s Timan-Pechora and West Siberia yielded 9137 barrels per day compared with 5985 during the same period last year.

However, the group added in an interim management statement on Wednesday that it does not expect the increase in this year's reserves audit due before the end of the year to be as large as in previous years.

The average crude oil price achieved during the period was around $62.56 per barrel, 19.3% higher than the $52.43 rate for the quarter in 2010.
