Hooked up: Kenai pipeline completed, Buccaneer says

Alaska-focused Buccaneer Energy said construction and pressure testing of the pipeline connecting the onshore Kenai Loop-1 well to the local gas pipeline has been completed.

Interconnecting piping, electrical and instrumentation connections, and fuel-gas piping of the production facilities on the Kenai Loop-1 pad in the Cook Inlet basin are now being installed, Buccaneer said in a statement.

“This installation at the Kenai Loop-1 pad will allow for more efficient and effective hook up of additional future wells,” the company added.

Buccaneer expects production and sales from the well to begin by the end of the year.

Kenai Loop-1 is a step-out well from the adjacent Kenai Cannery Loop field.
