Malaysian offshore fabricator Ramunia Holdings has been awarded a contract by UK-based Aquaterra Energy for the manufacture of wellhead support structures for the West Desaru project, off Peninsular Malaysia.
Ramunia
will
fabricate
two
subsea
structures,
one
topside
structure
and
a
boat
landing
facility
for
the
Petrofac-operated
oilfield
under
the
23.6
million
ringgit
($7.8
million)
contract.
Ramunia
said
the
target
load
out
date
of
the
works
was
31
July,
adding
it
expected
the
contract
to
contribute
positively
to
its
earnings
for
the
current
financial
year.
