Maersk Oil is seeking a Drilling Superintendent for a key position in the DUC Operations Drilling Group located at our headquarters in Copenhagen. The group, which consists of five rig teams each with a Drilling Superintendent and an Operations Engineer, supports the Danish North Sea drilling activities of Maersk Oil. Maersk Oil is the operator in the DUC partnership with Shell and Chevron.

Petro-Canada and its partners in the Fort Hills oil sands project have filed for permission to build an upgrading facility for the development, the company said today.
The upgrader, to be built near Edmonton, Alberta, will eventually process up to 340,000 barrels per day of crude from oil sands from the northern Alberta development and from other sources.
The start-up date and costs of the project have yet to be disclosed.
Petro-Canada is operator of the project, which mines oil sands north of Fort McMurray, Alberta, with a 55% working interest. UTS Energy holds a 55% stake and TEck Cominco holds a 15% interest.
