Universal wraps Nisku Reef survey

Florida-based Universal Energy said a 3D survey of its Pembina Nisku Reef project in Alberta, Canada, had been completed and it had started reviewing the data to identifiy drilling targets.

Universal chief executive Bill Raley said three potential drilling sites had been identified from an initial review of the survey data.

Universal said the Pembina field represented the largest oil and solution gas field in Canada, covering an area of 755,ooo acres and with recoverable reserves of about 1.6 billion barrels of oil and 1.2 trillion cubic feet of solution gas.
