Plexus extends Bowleven dealings

Wellheads: The contract covers two wells with the option for two more.

UK-based engineering company Plexus Holdings will supply wellhead equipment for appraisal drilling wells to an arm of Cameroon-focused Bowleven under a contract worth £1.05 million ($1.7 million).

Plexus will supply wellhead systems and services for two Bowleven wells, both located in the Etinde permit area offshore Cameroon, it said in an announcement to the London Securities Exchange.

Bowleven may also extend the contract for the high pressure, high temperature wellhead systems to another two wells in the area, Plexus said.

Revenues from the deal are expected to start in either June or July this year, with Plexus chief executive Ben van Bilderbeek saying the contract win would help the company make inroads to the West African oil and gas…
