IEV secures Indonesian CNG supply deal

Indonesian award: IEV will supply CNG to PT Unilever's West Java manufacturing plant under a two year deal

Singapore-listed IEV has been awarded a two year contract to supply compressed natural gas (CNG) to PT Unilever Indonesia’s manufacturing plant in West Java, Indonesia.

IEV said PT Unilever would buy roughly 9.9 million cubic metres of CNG under the deal, assuming the minimum off-take was 85% of the total contracted units of CNG.

 “The group is delighted to secure this energy supply contract from an established customer in Indonesia, which has further cemented IEV as a reliable mobile natural gas supplier,” IEV chief executive Christopher Do said.

“We will strive to supply CNG to meet the energy demands of factories throughout Java as we continue to grow our mobile natural gas supply chain.”
