Petrogas’ North Klalin production start

Production: RH Petrogas hopes the North Klalin-1 well will have a bright future.

Singapore-based RH Petrogas has started production from its North Klalin-1 well in the Kepala Burung production sharing contract, located offshore West Papua.

In an announcement, Petrogas said the well had been producing since 26 March, generating gas at a rate of about 1.56 million cubic feet per day and 107 barrels of condensate per day on a gross basis.

The well had generated about 5.9 million cubic feet of gas per day and 137 barrels of condensate per day during testing, the company said.

Spudded in June 2011, the well is located off the Sorong area of the peninsula, on its north west.
