Teaming up: Companies agree to equipment collaboration

Italian outfit Simas has teamed up with Tenaris to provide pipe components to customers, the companies said Thursday.

The collaboration will supply "state-of-the-art hot induction bends," according to a news release.

“This agreement combines the leadership of Tenaris in supplying offshore line pipe packages with the proven experience of Simas as a bends manufacturer,” a joint statement said.

The value and contractual details were not disclosed.
