The
Port
Authority
hopes
the
new
Tromso
base,
comprising
80,000
square
metres
of
industrial
space
and
two
deep
water
quaysides
in
excess
of
200
metreswill
be
a
focal
point
for
servicing
rigs
at
work
in
the
North
Norwegian
Sea.
Due
to
be
operational
from
mid
2013,
work
to
build
the
supply
base
facility
has
started
on
a
brownfield
site
just
south
of
Hammerfest,
Asco
said
in
an
announcement.
