metre
gross
oil
column
in
the
primary
objective
mid-Namur
sandstone.
It
added
the
well
also
encountered
“encouraging”
oil
shows
in
the
secondary
objective
Birkhead
sandstone.
Cooper
said
the
shows
and
wireline
log
response
were
similar
to
those
observed
in
the
producing
Birkhead
sands
in
other
wells
at
the
Christie
oilfield
and,
as
a
result,
said
the
Birkhead
remained
a
target
for
future
completion.
Christie-6
will
now
be
cased
and
suspended
for
future
completion
as
an
oil
producer…
