said
the
Ministry
of
Commerce
had
approved
the
modification
agreement
covering
the
coalbed
methane
project
which
extends
the
exploration
period
until
31
December,
2013.
Under
the
terms
of
the
agreement
between
Far
East
and
China
United
Coalbed
Methane
(CUCBM),
Far
East
will
relinquish
the
Enhong
Block
while
retaining
the
right
to
continue
to
explore
the
483
square
kilometre
Laochang
Block,
which
it
considers
to
hold
greater
potential.
