protest

kept
more

6700
employees
from
entering
to
work
and
left
dozens
of
equipment
standing
idle,

company
said.
Picket
lines
and
blockades
have
followed,
forcing
production
cuts.
“This
could
create
serious
consequences
for
the
internal
development
of
hydrocarbons
and
compromises
the
distribution
of
gas
to
areas
serviced
by
the
Patagonian
pipeline,”
PAE
said
in
a
statement.
“This
situation
demands
an
urgent
response
from
the
pertinent
authorities
to
re-establish
the
fundamental
rights
protected
by
the
constitution
and
to
defend
the
production
and
work
of
all
Argentinians.”
