Norwood spins Nicaragua bit

By Upstream staff

Vancouver-based Norwood Resources said it had spudded its San Bartolo Rodriguez Cano-1 well on Nicaragua's Pacific Coast yesterday.

Norwood said the well, on its Pacific coast onshore concession, would test Tertiary sediments in the middle Masachapa and upper and middle Brito formations.

The well has a targetted depth of 2700 metres. The company expects drilling, logging and casing to take 30 days.
