Malaysian work: GPS will provide three skid packages for Murphy Oil's Serendah project, off Sarawak

Dubai-based Global Process Systems (GPS) has been awarded three process packages from Malaysia’s Sapura Kencana Petroleum, covering the Serendah project, off Sarawak.

Under the deals GPS will provide the fuel gas conditioning package, the produced water treatment package and the deaerator column and vacuum pump skid for the offshore project.

The scope of the work covers the complete supply of the three skid packages including all engineering, design, mechanical completeness and electrical and instrumentation hook-up.

Sapura Kencana was awarded the fabrication contracts covering the platforms and topsides at the Serendah project earlier this year by operator Murphy Oil.

The Serendah project is the second phase of the Sarawak gas development project on Blocks SK309 and SK311…
