PGNiG hits Polish gas shows

Gas shows: PGNiG HQ in Warsaw

PGNiG has unearthed gas shows at a well in Poland situated relatively close to a gas discovery.

The Polish company found evidence of gas shows in the top level of the Rotliegend sandstones at the Komorze-3K well, minority partner FX Energy said.

The shows were found at an interval between 3971 metres and 3985 metres, FX said.

The plan is to core and drill the well to a total depth of 4078 metres, run electric logs and then run a production test.

PGNiG has decided to forgo a drill stem test to run a full production test at total depth.
