Technip snags Stella work

Technip: the company has been awarded a subsea contract covering the Greater Stella Area

French engineering company Technip has been awarded a subsea contract covering the Greater Stella Area, in the UK North Sea by London-listed operator Ithaca Energy.

The contract will see Technip carry out the detailed design and pipelay of a 33 kilometre 10-inch oil export pipeline and a 63 kilometre 10-inch gas export gas pipeline to the production platform.

It will also carry out subsea work at the Stella main drill centre and North drill centre including the installation of manifolds, tee structures, flexible pipelay and spoolpiece components, as well as the installation of the mooring system to the production platform and the design and installation of a five-slot mid water arch.
