Flowing: Kuwait Energy has started an extended production test on four wells in Egypt

Kuwait Energy has started an extended production test of four wells on the Abu Sennan concession in Egypt’s Western Desert.

Joint venture partner Beach Energy said the test was being carried out on the Al Ahmadi-1, GPZZ-4, Al Jahraa-1 and El Salmiya-1 which flowed oil, gas and condensate during various tests from a number of intervals including the Abu Roash C, E and G members and the Bahariya formation.

It added the combined maximum rate achieved from the extended production test so far was 2524 barrels of oil per day, with associated gas.
