Pemex clinches deal for newbuild semisub

Pemex has clinched an agreement with Mexico-based Grupo R to use its yet-to-be delivered newbuild semi-submersible La Muralla IV.

The rig - once it is in Mexico - will be used to drill an appraisal well to last year’s Piklis discovery.
