Bergen Group bags Statoil FSO gig

Modification job: Bergen Group Rosenberg

Norway’s Bergen Group has won a Nkr212 million ($35.5 million) letter of intent with Statoil to carry out modification and upgrade work on the Njord Bravo floating storage and offloading vessel.

Work on the unit, to be carried out at the Bergen Group Rosenberg yard, will incorporate a front-end engineering and design study as well engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning.

The workscope includes modifications and upgrade of the vessel’s accommodation, machinery, thrusters and control system, as well as deck and outer hull surface protection to be carried out by sub-contractor Kaefer Energy.
