The
Saipem
rig
was
earlier
reported
to
have
tilted
by
about
5.7
degrees
to
starboard
after
taking
in
seawater
in
a
ballast
tank
in
the
4
September
incident
while
drilling
the
Eni-operated
Salina
wildcat
in
the
Barents
Sea.
However,
the
report
from
the
Italian
operator
reveals
the
semi-submersible
rig
listed
by
seven
degrees
and
attributes
the
incident
to
faulty
handling
of
the
unit’s
ballast
system.

was

normalised
