Norway's Prosafe has firmed up one of its two options for semi-submersible accommodation platforms at Singaporean builder Jurong Shipyard.

The accommodation platform specialist has also pencilled in a further two options for sister units at the yard.

Prosafe already has the Safe Boreas under construction at Jurong for around $350 million with delivery in the second quarter of 2014.

It had left two options at the yard, one of which has been exercised on Thursday, while another two have been pencilled in. This leaves Prosafe with three optional units at Jurong.
