FMC dives in at Alve

By Upstream staff

FMC Technologies is set to supply subsea systems worth about $55 million to Statoil's Alve project in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea.

Alve is a tie-back project to the Norne floating production, storage and offloading vessel.

The scope of supply includes one four-slot template with manifold, one subsea production tree, related control systems, umbilicals and an overtrawlable protection structure. The subsea system will be engineered and manufactured at FMC Technologies’ facility in Kongsberg, Norway.

First deliveries are scheduled for the third quarter of this year.
