ConocoPhillips is having more trouble with blowout preventers on the semi-submersible rig Transocean Legend off Western Australia.

The US company is partly through drilling the Zephyros-1 exploration well in the Greater Poseidon area, but mechanical repair of the BOPs is being done, said co-venturer Karoon Gas.

ConocoPhillips had to wait two-and-a-half months earlier this year while the BOPs on the same rig were repaired.

Drilling of the Boreas-1 discovery well resumed in late August, and was followed by the spudding of Zephyros-1 on 12 November.
